I'm feeling soo much love and warmth at my current dept and current working place. <3
i'm invited to the departmental mooncake festival celebration on Tuesday afternoon. <3 lotsa of fun! and free lantern gift from Boss. hahahah!! and durian mooncake from Marriott hotel is damn NICE! Filling of real durian...yummy...
Front row are all the Boss-es...

Then, ytd i felt important at my job again. My boss invited me to sit in their meeting when actually nothing they talked abt is related to my linecards. But it's a marketing meeting. real marketing.
first he asked for suggestion on how to promote the things we are selling to customers. brochures...wad to include inside. hahaha...and choosing the friendly supplier to advertise. =)))
Then, he update us abt our Korean business, how is business in Korea and so on...He told me some interestin facts...maybe i'm noob so i dunno but would like to share with you people...
In Korean, the main leading cellphone brands is LG and Samsung, with second class brands like Pantech, Joa Tech and soo on...and some third class brands which i dunno wad...
BUT the funny thing abt them is the electronic components in the phone they used is the same...which means to say that...let's say LG approved a particular brand of battery, then Samsung, the people from 2nd class and 3rd class will follow and use the same brand of battery. So i'm telling you...if you are buying a Samsung phone, u are like buying a LG phone...because the electronic component they used is all the same!!! (etc circuit board, RF connector, universal contact and the simcard switch) muahahahh!!! if one day i had the money i would buy both brands and break them up to see if this is true. sooo now i lose faith in Samsung now...=)))
oh ya...phones in Korean cannot change their SIMcard. Which means if you need a new phone, u GET a new number...how amazing...can u imagine if i have frens that will msg me a new number everytime he change a new phone...i will go crazy...=)) and recently there's a law in Korean that says cellphones must be able to have a SIMcard switch so that they can change their SIMcards without changing phones, and that's where our business will come and how we can market our products. how amazing...
That's not the only interesting part...during meeting in order to explain to me wad is RF connector and what is universal contact and so on...my boss actually drew the circuit diagram to explain and telling how does these electronic stuff works. How nice rite?? more fun then physics lesson when i onli see the diagram but dun see the product...
I think i'm going to convert from a temp to a perm...and maybe if i get into school next year then i quit working here...been enjoying myself alot here... working life is soo different from school life. u get to know interesting facts and handle and work around wif ppl. you get to see the darkness in office politics...so much of what i will not experience in school. you rush to meet report schedules and u work hard to get extra pay and hope to get efforts recognised...
still thinking if i should MC tmr...haix...hopefully someone would ask me out and entertain me lah...=)) but i also feel like attending another cross-dept Mooncake festival Celebration...=(((
I suddenly miss IJC's celebration. we used to celebrate every year...=(((
i'm addicted to Sodoku...please give me some websites or software to satisfy my addiction...
