ytd went for this young leaders talk. and ytd was young leaders' day!! tot it will be kind of boring. sitting there from 10 plus onwards till evening. hehe...den somemore dunno really of my close frenz as CG rep lah....hehe...but hmm...it's a great talk lah. heezzz...inspiring and fun. unlike many other leadership talks i have attended.
they invited many speakers to come and share their experience. heezzz...there's Dr william tan and tanya chua we all know. heezz...
3 groups of ppl really inspired me. hehe... Dr william tan. he suffer from polio since he was 2 and unable to walk. but despite all these he still become a wheelchair marathon runner and break the guinness world record. though he cannot walk he neva gave up. he work even harder to archieve his goals. he told us this which i remember veri clearly "dare to dream, dream big" and u can can archieve your goals if u believe in yourself. heezzz...he's really an impressive person. heezzz....
another one was Dr Andrew goh. not sure whu is he lah...all i know is he's a writer and chairperson of world vision. heezz...he's not veri great for wad i think lah hehe...but he's talk is veri fun. heezz...and through his talk u will really admire him. lol...it's a kind of feeling i dunno how to describe. heezz...he said this becos of dear fren joash ask him one qn something like "wad kind of leader u are" something like that i forget. heezz... den he said "u have to know wad kind of leader u wanna be and wad kind of people u wanna rule." hehe...ya...this phrase really cool. it give me some tot. hehe...
den there's this yo-yo man. Mr michael lee... hehe...he's just a yo-yo man but he have wad he takes to be leader. heezzz...his talk is full of fun wif all his yo-yo tricks. he live wif 3 principles which he called it NED. heezz...N stands for neva gif up. E stands for encouraging others and D stands for doing your best. he says this will help u through your success. i really agree. heezz... to archieve our goals we must neva gif up and doing our best no matter wad. heezz...encouraging makes me puzzled. wad has it got to do wif success. heezzz...he said in order for others to encourage u, u have to first give your encouragement to others and they will gif u theirs. heezzz...
through this talk i learnt that leadership is commitment to others, encouraging others, working as a team and believing in yourself. heezzz...veri cool talk. memorable also. heezz...
ytd was huilin's birthday but was too tired to blog so i shall wish her happy belated birthday. dunno y sms her she neva rely...haiz!
